THE BRIEF:
Mango Media were approached by Sky television and asked to shoot an 'underwater special’ to show off their ‘high Definition’ channel.

THE RESULT:
The boys at Mango who had just finished shooting BBC TV Blue Planet and Planet Earth, were commissioned to shoot an hour long special…. They only had 5 days in the Maldives.
Bearing in mind that series like Planet Earth and Blue Planet take 3 to 4 years to make, this was a very ambitious project.

PRODUCTION INFO:
The film was shot on Sony 750 HD cameras at 1080i.”
